Sterling outraged over racist federal employee at Homeland Security
Republican Attorney General candidate David Sterling today expressed his outrage over news reports of an employee at the federal Department of Homeland Security operating a website that encourages a race war.
“This is another sad example of a broken and out-of-control federal government. The very department charged with keeping Americans safe within our own borders employs a mid-level manager who is calling for a race war,” said Sterling. “Perhaps most disturbing is that this employee is responsible for procuring weapons and ammunition for Homeland Security,” he stated.
Ayo Kimathi, employed by the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement division of DHS, received permission from the federal government to operate a website. The site, War on the Horizon, advocates hate and violence.
“The government in Washington is broken and out of control. As Attorney General, I will wake up every day looking for ways to rein in the federal government by restoring state authority and individual liberty as granted to us by the Tenth Amendment,” remarked Sterling.
